Dönay Çungur was awarded the master's thesis award in the Basic Sciences/Nanotechnology category as part of the 2024 Most Successful Graduate Thesis Awards presented by the Aksaray University Institute of Science.

The award was presented at a ceremony organized by Aksaray University Rector Prof. Dr. Alpay Arıbaş. In his speech, Rector Arıbaş emphasized his support for scientists, saying, "We want to follow innovations in science and technology and be strong in every field."
